In my opinion DLGuard Rocks, handling all of my eBay, and website downloads. I don’t what I’d do without it. I’ve used various free services before which are just unreliable, unsecure and unprofessional looking for the downloader. I have also tried e-Junkie, very good but very expensive in the long run and they only offer a 7 day free trial, which is not long enough to really test anything .
DLGuard secures your website, and at the same time helps manage your downloads and build customer lists. It protects your thankyou pages from people accessing them directly and bypassing your payment system. When a customer purchases, DLGuard creates a unique download link that expires at a time interval you choose, protecting you against link sharing.
You can also provide the customer with automatic access to a members area.
DLGuard is the only system that allows you to easily add bonus products.
It supports ClickBank, PayPal, 2Checkout, Stormpay and Ebay digital product delivery, as well as JVManager and Free product downloads. Comes with an easy to use installation script. Loads of customizable download pages. For Paypal users there is a built in shopping cart and recurring billing.
The Owner and Developer of DLGuard, Sam Stevens is unbelievably helpful when it comes to support and there are plenty of easy to understand guides making setting it all up a breeze. (Remember I am a non-tech guy, and I’ve found it quite easy).
From reading other peoples reviews, the only negative I’ve found is people complaining about it’s price tag being too high. $97 one off payment (No monthly charges and taking fees for each item you sell). Actually for what is alternatives are available, this defiantly works out the cheapest. With an 8week money back guarantee you can’t go wrong.
I personally, highly recommend this Product and my Advice to you would be simply, Get into it sooner rather than later.

The next most important tool that is vital if I want to maximize my efforts is the Auto Responder. This is the tool that will manage my newsletter systems. I have a funny angle on adding this to my business, because I personally hate “Newsletters”. So why would I want to set up my own mailing list. Find out here
After years of ignoring emails inviting my to myspace and many other “join your friends online” sites. I started to recieve lots of emails from different friends all inviting me to Facebook, so I joined. And as some one had warned me saying that “Facebook is like Internet Cocaine”. And I tried it and quickly became addicted (Facebook that is, not cocaine).
After a few weeks I became, what’s come to be known as “Facebored”.
I was starting to get sick of people “throwing a sheep at me” or sending me a “Poke” and I was starting to enjoy all the Facebook Parody’s and Anti-Facebook videos on Youtube. Then, I stumbled across an Ad for – A New social Network where you get Paid.
Now if I wanna get paid from the internet this seems like a good place to start.
This is a very new “social network” similar to myspace and facebook etc. with one big difference, Yuwie pays a part of it’s advertising revenue to it’s users. This has created a new style feeling community where all the users are helping each other to simply all get paid more. Although this site is still in it’s early days, nobody knows the future of this style of networking but, I figure set up an account, have a play then leave it there “to cook” and see what happens.
4. Paypal – this is where it all begins.
If I wanna get paid, the first thing I need to do is sign up to and set up my Paypal account.
You’ve probably heard of it before or you already have an account, but if you don’t – Open your own FREE account in minutes but before you do check out my Setting up Paypal Tips.
I see Paypal is sort of an online piggy bank. But a lot more than that as I have learnt.
PayPal is the world’s most popular “middleman service” for online purchasing. Where moneygrams and wire transfers were the standard in the 20th century, today over 99 million Internet users prefer to use PayPal to send money to each other via email. PayPal has become such a convenient and trusted way to transfer money online, 95% of eBay’s purchases go through PayPal.
How PayPal Works.
As an online financial transaction broker, PayPal lets people send money to each other’s email addresses. At no time will either party see the other’s credit card or bank information.
Similar to an escrow service, PayPal acts as the middleman holder of money. Through its policies, practices, and business integrity, PayPal has earned the trust of both parties.
Online Piggy Bank !
Now I’ve got the account it’s time to start getting some pennies into it……..
3. Bookmark Toolbar – the best thing I discovered in years.
Read, look and learn, any page that is of interest to you bookmark it !
For as long as I can remember, the Internet has always been slow.
I’ve always found myself clicking on a link, then sitting back, tapping my fingers…………… twiddling my thumbs………..flick the TV on….and…..it’s loaded. I read the page and see that I want to know more about something, so I click another link…………… and………wait a minute…….. just a moment……… and …………. ERROR ! Connection Broken, or some words to this affect. Then I notice some small text below the error message that looks like it could help me out. But this ain’t gonna help me. Some technical gobbledygook that leaves me more confused. This is the point where I feel like throwing this evil technology box through the window.
I would usually sulk for a few days, occasionally passing dirty looks towards my lonely computer in the dark corner of my room.
Then I would forgive my computer. Power on and start a fresh.
Then, again ERROR ! Pure frustration and annoyance.
I was in a love hate relationship with my PC, always quick to blame it on my slow internet connection. I then realized that if I cleaned my PC my connection was faster. I did this by deleting old files, then installing various software (security, PC Optimizers etc.) to keep my computer clean and healthy.
I learned 95% of this knowledge through reading guides and downloading all the necessary software, for free from Download.com , always my first stop when I’m stuck on techy stuff.
One day I learned a neat little trick that changed my internet sitting into internet surfing. Opening several browsers at the same time. They’d be all there at the bottom of the screen lined up neatly. Click on the first one, type in a website address, enter. Then click on the next tab, type in a website address, enter, and so on. By the time I’d done this over 4 or 5 tabs the first one would now be loaded, read it, click something, then on to the second tab. Get the idea ?
All this time I was using Internet Explorer, and one day thought I’d give this other browser a try, everyone seems to be talking about it. Download Now
Mozilla Firefox, I just loved it. And I love it more every day.
This is what I’ve been leading up to……………
BOOKMARK TOOLBAR it’s Grrrrreat,
Of course many of you guys who are reading this right now, are thinking that this is pretty basic. But, I am constantly shocked when someone’s showing me something on the internet, and I see that they are not using this great feature. Many people even use bookmarks, but do not realize the difference that Bookmark Toolbar makes.
